MIT offers a scholarship to eligible Institute employees, including postdoctoral associates and postdoctoral fellows, who have a child or children enrolled in one of MIT’s Technology Childcare Centers (TCC). How to Apply

  1. Read the Childcare Scholarship Program Fact Sheet
  2. Check the box below to indicate your child has been offered a space at a TCC. This action will make the Apply for Childcare Scholarship buttons appear.
  3. Click an Apply for Childcare Scholarship button to open up the enrollment form.

Reporting Change of Status

  You are responsible throughout the award period for reporting any changes in your status at MIT and/or your child’s status at the child care center that might affect your eligibility for the scholarship. Notify the Benefits Office of your changes, contact information can be found at the bottom of this page.

Examples of a change in status include, but are not limited to:

  • discontinuing employment at MIT
  • decreasing the percentage of time you are employed at MIT causing a loss of benefits eligibility
  • change in spouse/partner employment or enrollment status
  • withdrawing your child from the center in which he or she is currently enrolled
  • or reducing the number of days your child is enrolled at LINC

This award is subject to all the conditions and requirements of the MIT Child Care Scholarship Program, as modified by MIT from time to time. MIT also reserves the right to terminate those Scholarship Program at any time.
